Bay Natural History
Bay Natural began in 1959 on Pine Street in Green Bay by the original owner Claire Delsman. After Terry Lemerond purchased the business in 1969, it became a family run business. Each family member took part in working and growing the business.
As the business grew, Terry's knowledge and popularity in Green Bay grew. Bay Natural Foods eventually expanded into the adjacent building. By 1981, Terry began offering his own nutritional supplements with the name "Enzymatic Therapy". Several years later, Enzymatic Therapy found its home in the I-43 industrial park. Currently it has approximately 300 employees and products in 13 countries around the world. It has become a leader in the vitamin industry.
After 45 years, Bay Natural Foods remains the trusted health food store in northeastern Wisconsin because of the high quality products and earned customer trust and support in nutritional alternatives. In the fall of 2005, Streu's Pharmacy purchased Bay Natural and both businesses moved to a new location at 635 Main Street in downtown Green Bay. Streu's Pharmacy / Bay Natural is proud to bring the community a new look of pharmacy with the marriage of Traditional and Natural Medicine. We are "together in sickness, together in health".
The Marriage
The marriage of Streu's Pharmacy and Bay Natural in the fall of 2005 has brought together the best of both worlds - Traditional and Natural Medicine.
