Medication Administration Class

Written & Skills Testing – Feb 14 (8am-12pm)
The Medication Administration Course is a state-approved program to meet the requirements of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Administrative Code. The course includes multiple topics to guide the caregiver in their responsibility for medication administration. These include role expectations, responsibilities, delegation of skilled tasks, CBRF regulations related to medication management, resources available and review of several medication categories.
Requirements
- Pre-registration IS required.
- Fees cover the presentation and written materials.
- Cancellations accepted until 48 hours prior to the class for a full refund or transfer to another course.
- All participants must bring proof of identity on the first day of class.
- Competency Testing is offered on the third day of class in written form upon completion of all required contact hours.
- A score of 90% or better is considered passing.
- If an unsatisfactory score is obtained, the participant may retake the exam one additional time on the same day.
- The state registry fee will be paid to UW–Green Bay by Streu’s Pharmacy Bay Natural on your behalf after successful completion of the exam. You will then be added to a public access registry located on the CBRF Training and Registry Services website.
