Streu’s Diabetes Prevention Program Helps Minimize Risk

More than 8 in 10 people with pre-diabetes don’t know they have it. Are you at risk? Do you know someone who is?

  • Are you over age 40?
  • Are you overweight?
  • Do you have a family member with Diabetes?
  • Do you have high blood pressure?
  • Do you exercise fewer than three times per week?
  • Have you ever had gestational diabetes?

Diabetes can lead to many other health problems including diseases of your heart, eyes, kidneys, and feet. Diabetes medications and related health problems are expensive and can be difficult to manage.

Our Diabetes Prevention Program can help you maintain your best health and keep medical costs from adding up. This lifestyle course is specifically designed to help you lower your risk of getting Diabetes. We’ll work together to help you make small improvements to your diet, increase physical activity and address other risk factors. Nationally, people who complete this program have lowered their risk of getting diabetes by more than 50%.
