Diabetes Prevention

Are you at risk for diabetes? If you answer yes to any of the following questions, you may be.

  • Are you over age 40?
  • Are you overweight?
  • Do you have a family member with Diabetes?
  • Do you have high blood pressure?
  • Do you exercise fewer than three times per week?
  • Have you ever had gestational diabetes?

Diabetes can affect not only your blood sugar, but also your heart, eyes, kidneys, and feet. In addition, related medications and health problems can be expensive and difficult to manage.

One in three people have prediabetes – and many don’t know it.

Heading into our second year, Streu’s Diabetes Prevention Program continues to help people lower their risk of developing diabetes. Our lifestyle change program is a 16-week course followed by monthly check-ins for the rest of the year.

  • Get effective, evidence-based tools and tips.
  • Work one-on-one with a trained lifestyle coach.
  • Reduce stress & improve your whole health.

Join a proven lifestyle change program—nationally recognized for its effectiveness—that can help you lower your blood sugar and take control of your health.

In addition, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services offers a host of resources for more information about Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes including an online risk test.
